The youngest age we allow to have a gym membership is 12. However, 12-14 year olds must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Therefore, 12-14 year olds may not have their own membership—they must be part of a couple or a family membership, or they may sign up for the After School Program membership.
The Silver Sneakers program works with specific health insurance companies around the nation to provide free gym memberships to seniors. In order to determine whether or not you qualify for the Silver Sneakers membership, please call your insurance or speak with one of our staff members at the front desk.
For all one year contracted agreements, we require the payment to drawn from a checking account or a credit card. We cannot bill savings accounts. We accept the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.
Because our classes are included in your gym membership, we have a first-come-first-serve policy. However, due to high demand, we do require sign-ups for all evening cycling classes. If you have signed up for an evening cycling class, please pick up your bike tag at the front desk to reserve your bike.
Services provided in the Physical Therapy clinic are not included in health club memberships. However, the clinic offers free assessments/consultations every Saturday morning at 10 am.
At this time, the Fit Stop does not have any partnership or agreement with the Wasatch County Recreation Center. Our health club members must have a separate membership to use the recreation facility. However, we do offer a discounted membership for those who have a current membership to the recreation center. Ask the front desk for details.
We have a physical therapy sized pool located in our Physical Therapy clinic. The pool is available to all health club members. It is first-come-first-serve, but physical therapy patients have priority during clinic hours. We do not allow anyone under the age of 18 to use the pool unattended. The pool is not large enough to swim laps, but we do have endless jets installed that allow you to swim against a constant current.
We accept all children between the ages of 10 weeks to 10 years old.
We understand that Heber Valley is a recreation mecca. We also understand that this location provides many people with their “second” homes. In order to accommodate those who work, travel, and play on a seasonal basis, the Fit Stop allows gym members to freeze their membership ONE time per contracted year. There is a fee for each month that the membership is frozen that must be paid up front. Fees equal 25% of your monthly dues. We do not offer open-ended freezes—you must give us a deadline. We do offer medical freezes free of charge. Ask the front desk for more details.
We do not offer the option of cancelling any contract unless you are moving at least 25 miles away. You must provide a proof of move before the cancellation will take effect. Contracts are transferable and may be transferred to a different name ONE time per contracted year.
