Staff

The Fit Stop has assembled a diversely trained team of therapists, trainers, and exercise professionals to guide you to a healthier life. You can enjoy lasting benefits as we assist in your rehabilitation following surgery, injury, or other health challenges. Our goal is to build strength, increase flexibility and minimize your chance of re-injury.

Our Therapists:

Our therapy staff is anchored by the Bluth family, led by Alan and sons Tyler and Tobin. They have compiled a great and diverse staff able to handle all physical, occupational and speech therapy needs and challenges. All of our therapists are members of the American Physical Therapy Association, the professional group that ensures standards of excellence as required by apta.org.

Alan Bluth

Physical Therapist & Director of Rehabilitation Services

Alan received his physical therapy training at the University of Iowa. He has lived in the Heber Valley for over 30 years he introduced PT services to Wasatch County. He has provided therapy services at the Utah Center for Sports Medicine, Life Center Physical Therapy and St. Mark’s Hospital in Salt Lake City. He is a past president of the Utah Physical Therapy Association. Alan specializes in therapeutic exercise and is focused on providing enhanced therapy services at the new Fit Stop. He continues to introduce cutting edge procedures to the Fit Stop to bring outstanding, progressive therapies and healing processes to the clinic.

Tobin Bluth

Doctorate of Physical Therapy

Tobin graduated from the University of Utah in May of 2009 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, and joined Fit Stop Physical Therapy after graduation. Tobin enjoys seeing the benefits that physical therapy can have in people’s lives. Tobin’s clinical background in physical therapy school included internships focusing on geriatric/balance issues, Neurological populations including Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease, and spine physical therapy. Tobin who grew up in the Heber Valley and is excited to be home again with his wife Rachel and their family.

Tyler Bluth

Master of Physical Therapy

Tyler joined the Fit Stop team with a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Utah. Tyler is involved in all aspects of rehabilitation services at the Fit Stop Physical Therapy Clinic. He coordinates care at the clinic, Heber Valley Medical Center, Skilled Nursing Facilities and several Home Health agencies.

Erin Crook

LPTA

Erin was born and raised in the Heber Valley. After graduating from Wasatch High school she continued her education at Salt Lake Community College. She earned her Physical Therapist Assistant Degree in 2007. She has been employed at the Fit Stop Physical Therapy Clinic since January 2008. Erin enjoys working with aquatic therapy, sports rehab, and the geriatric population.
